| Description: | The Spa Director will be responsible for the direction of policies, procedures, plans and programs governing all aspects of the spa operation at Saddlebrook Resorts, Inc. This will encompass the area of fiscal budgeting and analysis and all other financial matters of the facility. In addition, serve as the catalyst to the sales and Marketing strategies for the growth of the spa operation. |
| Duties: | The framework necessary to administer the plan for the direction of the spa operations requires the following:
1. Direct operation of facility, including short and long range strategic planning so that the facility operates efficiently.
2. Establish and maintain business relationships with all vendors and outside contacts.
3. Assist in the recruitment, development and training of all spa staff. Conduct interviews for all spa positions and determine appropriate candidates. Conduct formal training programs on the required job functions for the new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
4. Establish and ensure that resort wide and spa operation policies and procedures are adhered to.
5. Oversee spa documentation, including financial statements, payroll and other management reports.
6. Implement/maintain the established budget programs.
7. Assists and drives the business planning process for the spa operation.

| Qualifications: | Essential:
Bachelor's Degree
4 years management experience, preferrably in spa/fitness or hospitality industry
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership skills, including training
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient PC and software applications skills
Desirable:
Massage Therapist or Esthetician license
